Brig. Gen. Chad D. Raduege is the Director of the Command, Control, Communications and Computers/Cyber Directorate, and Chief Information Officer, Headquarters U.S. European Command, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany. In this capacity, he leads a joint staff responsible for operating five unique networks to enable global operations. In addition, he ensures communications readiness across the European theater – with NATO, the world’s premier military alliance, and 51 countries – through policy and security cooperation efforts. Brig. Gen. Raduege entered the Air Force in 1994 as a distinguished graduate of the Ohio State University ROTC program. An Operation Joint Guard veteran, he has commanded eight times at the detachment, squadron, group and agency levels, to include deployed commands supporting operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. In addition, he has served as a staff officer at the Major Command, Air Staff, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense levels. Prior to his current position, Brig. Gen. Raduege served as the Director of Cyberspace and Information Dominance, and Chief Information Officer, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. In this position, he was responsible for organizing, training and equipping cyberspace capability to build, extend, operate, secure and defend the Air Force portion of the Department of Defense global network.
